Leveling Up
Thanks to the antitrust division of the United States Department of Justice, you can now play classic video games on your iPhone for $0.

In March of this year, the DOJ sued Apple for engaging in anti-competitive practices that lock users into Apple services and products -- even when it makes those products & services notably worse. Apple's lawyers lined up to chant a harmonized chorus of "Nuh uh!" Then, as if throwing the Justice Department a bone, it opened the app store to retro game emulators, a.k.a. the apps that let you play Galaga (et al) on your $1000 iPhone.
The most prominent of these emulator apps is called Delta. Its developers built it "under the impression Apple would allow it into the App Store. Unfortunately, Apple later changed their minds, leaving no choice but to find a new way to distribute Delta." Perhaps the House of Jobs changed course because it distributes games in the Arcade section of the App Store...but one massive lawsuit later, you can acquire Delta gratis.
Delta serves as a full-on retro console and can even (if you make some tweaks) connect you your television. The video below gives step-by-step instructions on how to get started with it...no stack of quarters required.
