     This book grew out of The Art Assignment, a series of videos in which Urist Green talks about art, interviews contemporary artists, and lets them set up arty tasks for the viewer. These vids are a fun way to learn how to eat like Andy Warhol or discover why conceptual art is worth your time -- but the assignments are the main draw here. You will be encouraged to become a sci-fi character, create an imaginary friend, and try to imitate an artist you admire. There's even a playlist of art assignments for the self-quarantine, like "make a fake flyer":
